HGV Tyre Fitter – R Adams & Sons
R Adams & Sons are looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Tyre Fitter to join our team.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for carrying out the fitting, removal, repair and maintenance of HGV tyres, ensuring vehicles are safe, roadworthy and ready for work. Be roadside, sites and our depot. Will be driving the MAN TGE van as pictured kitted out with all the equipment needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Fitting, removing and repairing HGV tyres
* Carrying out tyre inspections and identifying defects
* Maintaining safe working practices at all times
* Keeping tools, equipment and work areas clean and maintained
* Completing work efficiently and to a high standard
* Responding to breakdowns and roadside tyre call-outs when required
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in HGV tyre fitting or a similar role
* Mechanically minded and safety conscious
* Reliable, hardworking and punctual
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Able to work in a physically demanding environment
* Flexible when required, including occasional out-of-hours call-outs
* Holds a full UK driving licence
