Mini Me’s Nursery is looking for a confident, caring and experienced Full-Time Team Leader to join our friendly nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years childcare, enjoys supporting children’s development, and is ready to take on a leadership role within a warm and welcoming setting.
About the Role
As a Team Leader, you will help lead the day-to-day running of your room, supporting practitioners to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow and thrive. You will work closely with management, colleagues, children and families to maintain high standards of care, learning and safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and support a room team to deliver high-quality care and early years education.
· Plan and provide engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s learning and development.
· Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
· Support observations, assessments and next steps in line with the EYFS.
· Promote a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for all children.
· Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times.
· Act as a positive role model and help support the ongoing development of team members.
What We’re Looking For
· A Level 3 childcare qualification or above.
· Previous experience working in an early years setting.
· Experience leading or supporting a team would be desirable.
· A strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities.
· A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
· Good communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
· A commitment to providing excellent care and learning opportunities for every child.
