Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Girls Football Coach to inspire and develop young female athletes(U8S team season 26/27). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with a commitment to fostering teamwork, discipline, and confidence among players. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth of aspiring footballers while gaining valuable coaching experience.
Training sessions 6-7pm Thursdays

Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging training sessions tailored to the skill levels of female players
- Organise team drills, exercises, and tactical sessions to improve individual and team performance
- Motivate players to achieve their personal best and promote a positive sporting environment
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help players develop their technical skills and understanding of the game
- Ensure all training activities adhere to health and safety regulations
- Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect among all participants
- Assist in organising matches, tournaments, and community events related to girls’ football programmes
- Maintain equipment and ensure the training area is safe, organised, and ready for sessions
Experience
- Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably within football or similar team sports
- Prior teaching experience or background working with young people is highly desirable
- Knowledge of football techniques, rules, and tactical strategies
- Ability to communicate effectively with players of various ages and skill levels
- Enthusiasm for mentoring young athletes and promoting gender equality in sport
- Relevant coaching qualifications or willingness to obtain necessary certifications prior to commencement
- DBS checked
- FA Level 2 Coaching Qualification (minimum)
