Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team serving delicious coffee every time . As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and serve pre prepped food items (cakes and sausage rolls). Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will contribute to an exceptional experience for our patrons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Serve pre prepared food, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista is a must
- experience with a commercial coffee machine
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and order calculations.
- Knowledge of using a square terminal machine
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- A passion for coffee culture and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques.
- Pack up and lock trailer after each shift if I’m unable to make it back in time (will let you know if this is the case and I imagine will be quiet unlikely)
