An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 8a Team Manager within the Mental Health Central Access Point and Criminal Justice Liaison and Diversion Team- part of the Urgent Care Pathway in the Directorate of Mental Health at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust.
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated leader to oversee the operational and clinical delivery of our CQC-rated Good service across all domains. You will join a supportive, forwardthinking team with a shared commitment to highquality, personcentred care. This role also offers the chance to influence and develop how the service is delivered across the Leicester and Leicestershire region, working closely with colleagues to shape its future and drive continuous improvement.
This portfolio includes:
Mental Health Central Access Point
The MHCAP provides a 24/7 telephone access for urgent mental health support. MHCAP service acts as one front door to mental health servicing- triaging needs and advise, support, signpost or refer directly to the appropriate service.
Criminal Justice Liaison and Diversion
The Liaison and Diversion Service identifies those who have mental health vulnerability, learning disability, needs arising from neurodiversity, substance misuse problems or other vulnerabilities when they first meet the criminal justice system. This service includes Custody, Triage Car, Reconnect and Court Service.
