Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery, electrical systems, and building infrastructure to identify potential issues early.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation problems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including welding, electrical wiring, component replacements, and system adjustments.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize automated processes.
- Read and interpret schematics to accurately diagnose system faults and implement effective solutions.
- Supervise maintenance activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed efficiently.
- Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repair projects while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance roles with strong mechanical knowledge and electrical experience.
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes.
- Skilled in welding techniques and mechanical repairs essential for maintaining equipment integrity.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation control systems.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervising experience in a maintenance or technical environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document procedures and collaborate with team members.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to prioritize safety and operational efficiency.

Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
