Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation and safety of our facilities and equipment. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and control system issues promptly to ensure continuous operation.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose problems.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems and implement necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Conduct welding repairs as needed, adhering to safety standards and quality specifications.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records, logs, and reports to track equipment performance and service history.
- Lead small teams or supervise maintenance activities during shifts, providing guidance and ensuring safety compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance roles with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.
- Skilled in welding techniques with the ability to perform repairs safely and effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervising experience within maintenance teams or projects.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to electrical work, welding, and general maintenance practices is essential.
