Store Manager

This is a leadership role responsible for the day-to-day operation of the store, team performance and delivery of a high-quality customer experience. The Store Manager will lead the team to ensure smooth operations, strong service standards and consistent execution in a fast-paced premium café environment.

Responsibilities:
Team Leadership
· Lead, motivate and develop the store team
· Set clear expectations for service, performance and behaviour
· Manage daily team performance and provide ongoing feedback
· Support onboarding and training of new team members
· Create a positive, organised and high-performing team environment
Operations
· Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth service flow
· Manage opening and closing procedures
· Ensure staffing levels are appropriate for service demand
· Monitor and maintain cleanliness, organisation and store standards
· Ensure all operational procedures are followed consistently
Customer Experience
· Ensure a consistently high standard of customer service
· Lead by example on the floor during busy periods
· Handle customer issues and complaints professionally
· Maintain a welcoming and premium customer experience
Stock & Control
· Monitor stock levels and coordinate ordering
· Manage deliveries, storage and stock rotation
· Support inventory counts and minimise waste
· Ensure correct product handling and food safety procedures
Performance & Responsibility
· Take ownership of store performance and daily operations
· Ensure team meets service, speed and quality standards
· Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
· Report key issues, performance and operational updates
What we are looking for:
Experience & Skills
· Previous experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor in a café, restaurant or retail environment
· Strong understanding of fast-paced service environments
· Experience leading shifts and managing teams
· Comfortable with POS systems and basic operational reporting
Personal qualities
· Strong leadership and communication skills
· Confident, organised and able to take ownership
· High standards for service, cleanliness and presentation
· Calm under pressure and able to make decisions quickly
· Positive attitude with a hands-on approach
Work requirements
· Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
· Comfortable working on the floor for extended periods
· Willing to be hands-on in all areas of the operation

Pay: £36,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
