Support Worker – Waking Nights (Full Time Only)

The role
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will provide overnight support to adults with a range of needs, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and comfort throughout the night.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing reassurance and emotional support when needed.
- Supporting with personal care where required.
- Completing regular welfare checks.
- Maintaining accurate records.
- Carrying out light household duties to ensure the home is ready for the day staff.
- Responding calmly and appropriately to any incidents or emergencies.
Hours
- Full-time permanent contract
- Waking night shifts only
- Weekend and bank holiday working will be required on a rota basis.
What we're looking for
We're looking for people who are:
- Kind, reliable and compassionate.
- Ideally experienced in care or support work (mental health, learning disabilities, autism or similar), although full training will be provided.
- Confident supporting personal care and emotional wellbeing.
- Calm under pressure and able to work independently overnight.
- Good communicators and team players.
- Committed to providing person-centred support.
Essential requirements
