Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair automatic door systems including sliding, swinging, and revolving doors.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance of all door mechanisms.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control system issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate installation schedules and ensure seamless integration with existing building systems.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as replacing sensors, motors, hinges, and control panels to prevent system failures.
- Document all service activities thoroughly in maintenance logs and report any safety concerns or system deficiencies promptly.
Qualifications
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, masonry equipment, plastering tools, and construction painting techniques.
- Familiarity with construction drawings and schematics for system installation or repair projects.
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Experience working with various construction materials including masonry, plastering compounds, roofing materials, or similar is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues quickly and efficiently.
