Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and communal spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes to minimise disruption to business operations.
- Restock consumables such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning routines to management promptly.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation in all assigned areas.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Demonstrable attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable with good time management skills to complete tasks within allocated shifts.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
- Flexibility to work during evening hours, typically after business hours or at night.
- A responsible attitude towards health and safety procedures is essential.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
