Main Objectives:
We are looking for a motivated and confident Sales Executive to drive new business growth for our waste management company. This is a proactive, target-driven role focused on identifying new opportunities, engaging prospective customers through outbound sales and cold calling, building strong business relationships, and converting leads into long-term, valued clients. As this is an Entry-Level Role, you'll play a key role in expanding our customer base while delivering excellent service and tailored waste management solutions.
What you’ll be responsible for:
· Generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and prospecting.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
· Identify customer needs and recommend suitable recycling and waste management solutions.
· Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and close sales opportunities.
· Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
· Keep up to date with industry trends and environmental legislation.
· Building a strong portfolio of repeat customers
· Contributing to overall business growth
Personal Specification
Skills, knowledge and aptitude
· Proven experience in sales, telesales, or business development, with experience in the waste management desirable.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
· Confident in generating new business through cold calling, face-to-face meetings, and regular field visits.
· Full UK driving licence (essential).
· Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.
· Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
· Able to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
· Competent in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other standard business software.
· Resilient, persistent, and positive, with the confidence to overcome objections and secure new business.
· Commercially aware, target-focused, and motivated by achieving results.
