The Role
This is a varied and hands-on role involving diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and MOT testing (if qualified), working to a high standard across all makes and models.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out diagnostics and fault finding.
- Servicing and mechanical repairs to a high standard.
- Conducting MOTs (if licensed).
- Maintaining workshop cleanliness and efficiency.
- Completing job cards and documentation correctly.
Requirements
- Level 3 or equivalent qualified technician, although an experienced level 2 would be considered.
- Hold a Full UK driving license.
- Own tools.
- MOT licence desirable but not essential, willing to train right candidate in future.
- Ability to work unsupervised with confidence and as part of a team.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Welding or auto-electrical experience advantageous.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm.
- Overtime is optional and available during the week or Saturdays.
