Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Full-Time Care Assistants to join our friendly team at a Specialist Dementia Home in Staverton, Wiltshire. This is a rewarding opportunity to support individuals living with dementia and make a real difference in their daily lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication in line with care plans
- Assist with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Accurately record care and report any changes in residents' conditions
- Work collaboratively with the wider care team
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care home or dementia care setting is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills in English
- A kind, patient, and respectful approach to care
- Ability to work weekends as part of a rota
