We are a family-run, newly refurbished and modern petrol station convenience store located in the heart of Lochend, Edinburgh. We pride ourselves on being community-focused, providing a clean, welcoming and well-presented store, maintaining excellent standards and delivering friendly service to every customer.
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated individual to join our team in this hybrid role, combining retail shop-floor responsibilities with local home deliveries using a company vehicle or e-bike!
This is a fast-paced and varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, being active throughout their shift and taking on a range of responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Serving customers and providing excellent customer service
- Operating the till and handling payments accurately
- Replenishing stock and maintaining high standards throughout the shop
- Preparing customer orders for delivery, ensuring all items are accurate and complete
- Delivering orders safely and efficiently to local customers
- Communicating professionally and effectively with customers upon delivery and confirming receipt of goods
- Assisting with general day-to-day store operations
- Working efficiently and maintaining a high standard of service in a busy environment
- Balancing shop-floor responsibilities alongside delivery duties
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to the smooth running of the store
We are looking for someone who is:
- The holder of a full, clean UK driving licence
- Friendly, approachable and genuinely customer-focused
- A confident and effective communicator
- Reliable, punctual, trustworthy and professional
- Able to multitask and remain organised in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently when completing deliveries
- A positive team player who is always willing to help

Previous retail or delivery experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidate. More importantly, we are looking for someone with the right attitude, work ethic and commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
