Kitchen Team: Full-time Role
Join the kitchen team at The Canteen - a vibrant community café in the heart of Southwold. This is a hands-on role in a thriving local business, where excellent food and service brings people together.
We are looking for a someone passionate about delivering a high-quality, seasonal food with care and consistency. You’ll help to shape our seasonal brunch and lunch menus, maintain high standards and become part of a friendly team making a positive impact on the community.

What We Offer
- £27,000 pro rata salary

About You
- Passionate about fresh, flavourful food and quality service
- Calm, organised, and reliable under pressure.
- Confident with prep, stock control, organisation and ordering Understanding of food hygiene, allergens, health and safety compliance Positive, friendly and a strong communicator
The Role
- Prepare and serve fresh, high-quality and locally-sourced food
- Help develop and deliver seasonal menus and daily specials
- Maintain excellent hygiene and food safety standards
- Manage stock, minimise waste, and keep the kitchen running smoothly
- Work closely with front-of-house staff to deliver a great customer experience Supporting the wider aims of a community-focused organisation
