Curtis Law Solicitors is an award-winning law firm with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional client care and results. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an Industrial Disease Fee Earner / Paralegal to join our expanding team in Blackburn.
This role will primarily involve managing Military Noise-Induced Hearing Loss claims. Whether you have experience in Industrial Disease or are an experienced Paralegal looking to specialise in this area, we offer full support, training and genuine opportunities for career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of Industrial Disease claims.
- Review new instructions and assess prospects of success.
- Analyse medical records, audiograms and expert evidence.
- Draft legal documents, witness statements and correspondence.
- Liaise with clients, medical experts and third parties.
- Progress files efficiently while delivering excellent client care.
- Meet departmental targets and KPIs.
Skills & Experience
- Experience handling Industrial Disease claims or previous Paralegal experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to client service.
