Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks efficiently, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
- Manage cash register operations, including handling payments and giving correct change
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere, promoting repeat business and positive reviews
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is desirable
- Strong serving skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour to engage with diverse guests
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A valid permit or certification for responsible alcohol service is advantageous but not mandatory
