Job Title: Event & Lagoon Cleaning Operative
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Event & Lagoon Cleaning Operatives to join our growing team. This role involves maintaining high cleanliness standards at events and around lagoon facilities, ensuring all areas remain clean, safe, and presentable for guests and visitors.
The Hours for this role will vary from early mornings to late nights.
Responsibilities:
Event Cleaning
- Cleaning event venues before, during, and after events.
- Emptying bins and managing waste disposal.
- Litter picking throughout event areas.
- Cleaning toilets, welfare facilities, and communal areas.
- Carrying out deep cleans following events.
- Reporting maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.
Lagoon Cleaning
- Maintaining cleanliness around lagoon and waterfront areas.
- Litter picking and waste removal.
- Cleaning walkways, seating areas, changing facilities, and public spaces.
- Assisting with routine cleaning schedules to ensure a safe environment for visitors.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings when required.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Full driving licence preferred but not essential.
