Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Lift Engineer to oversee the design, installation, maintenance, and optimisation of lift systems across various projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in lift engineering, demonstrate leadership qualities, and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions within strict safety standards. Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a range of lift equipment.
- Attend lift breakdowns and diagnose faults efficiently.
- Complete minor and major repairs.
- Support lift modernisation projects where required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and reports.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other engineers.
- Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent recognised qualification).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within the lift industry.
- Strong knowledge of servicing, fault finding and repairs on various lift manufacturers.
- Excellent electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- Experience with major repairs and modernisations.
- LEIA industry training.
- Experience supervising or mentoring engineers.
