About the Role
Intacept Security is seeking a reliable and professional Night Control Room Officer to join our operations team in Peterborough. This position plays a key role in coordinating field operations, maintaining communication with security officers, and ensuring an effective response to alarms and incidents during night hours.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and coordinate Mobile Patrol Officers (MPOs), dispatching alarms and reallocating services when required.
- Provide a professional and courteous service when handling alarm calls, task requests, and client communications.
- Review and verify alarm response reports before sending to clients.
- Maintain regular contact with MPOs, including welfare checks throughout the night.
- Respond promptly to missed lone worker check calls from static Security Officers.
- Update internal databases and systems accurately.
- Support the Operations Management team with rostering and scheduling.
- Escalate incidents or accidents and maintain communication between clients, emergency services, and management.
- Complete all documentation in line with company policies and compliance requirements (ACS/ISO).
Skills and Experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and calm under pressure, with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with TrackTik software is an advantage.
- Understanding of British Standards, ISO, ACS, and SIA requirements (training provided if needed).
- Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
