We are looking for a motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager

Key Responsibilities
As a Restaurant Manager
Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Planning catering services and directing staff
- Deciding on the range and quality of meals and beverages to be provided
- Discussing customers’ requirements for special occasions.
- Verifying the quality of food, beverages and waiting service as required.
- Recruiting, train, and motivate staff while organizing shifts and rotas for both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Allocating duties and monitoring employee performance.
- Delivering excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Managing stock levels and ensuring efficient stock control procedures.
- Handling customer enquirers and resolving complaints professionally.
- · Purchase or direct the purchasing of supplies and arrange for the preparation of accounts.
- · Ensuring that kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and that appropriate hygiene standards are maintained in compliance with statutory requirements.
- · Planning and arranging food preparation in collaboration with other staff and organize the provision of waiting or counter staff.
- · Making sure that supplies are properly used and accounted for to prevent wastage and loss to stay within budget limits
- Supervising financial records, cash handling, and payment authorizations.
- Setting product prices, discounts, and credit terms where applicable.
- Ensuring the business operates efficiently while meeting sales and business performance targets.
- Maintaining compliance with company policies and health and safety requirements.
- Determining staffing, financial, material and other short- and long-term requirements.
Essential Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- · Excellent customer service skills.
- · Communication and team management abilities.
- · Previous experience of managing a busy restaurant and large team.
- · Demonstrated ability in team management and supervising staff effectively.
- · Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- · Experience in bar tending is an advantage but not essential.
- · Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of restaurant operations.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and achieve business targets.
- Experience in stock management, relay instructions to suppliers, kitchen staff, and servers quickly and precisely to eliminate logistical errors.
Pay: Up to £33,400.00 per year
