Position: DLO Electrician
Location: 2 Pintle Place, Hancock Road, London, E3 3UP
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 3+ Months
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: PAYE: £20.30 per hour
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, and installation works in residential properties
- Complete electrical testing, inspections, surveys, and fault finding
- Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and identify any required remedial works
- Complete portable appliance testing (PAT) and maintain accurate records
- Inspect and complete electrical works in void properties before re-let
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out safe and effective repairs
- Ensure all work meets the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and health and safety standards
- Complete job reports, certificates, and documentation accurately
- Provide professional and friendly service to residents, staff, and partners
- Participate in occasional out-of-hours emergency repair work when required
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles safely
- Work with the repairs team to deliver high-quality maintenance services
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician with experience in electrical maintenance and installation
- Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical repair and maintenance work
- Hold a recognised Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification with AM2 (or equivalent)
- Hold an Inspection and Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391 or 2395)
- Hold City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- Experience carrying out electrical testing, inspections, fault finding, and repairs
- Good knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations
- Ability to complete accurate reports and certification
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Able to work independently and manage a busy workload
- Full UK driving licence with no more than six points and no serious driving offences
- Minimum two years' driving experience
