About the Role
We are currently recruiting reliable and experienced Van Courier Drivers to join our busy London same-day courier circuit on a full-time basis.
This opportunity is particularly suited to experienced couriers who want regular work without needing to own their own vehicle.
Company vehicles are available at discounted weekly rental rates, and you will work directly with our experienced control team completing collections and deliveries throughout London and surrounding areas.
We are looking for drivers who are reliable, punctual, professional and experienced in same-day courier work.
Company Vehicles Available
You do not need to own a vehicle to apply.
Company vehicles are available at discounted weekly rates:
- Parcel Car – £170 per week
- Transit Van – £195 per week
Important: Vehicles supplied by Prestige Cars & Couriers are provided specifically for Prestige work and cannot be used to work for other courier companies, delivery platforms or private work.
Working Hours
This is a full-time position with regular weekday work available.
Typical working hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Approximately 08:00–18:00
- Additional hours may be available
- Weekend work may be available for drivers looking to increase their earnings
As we operate a same-day courier service, finishing times may occasionally vary depending on workload, traffic conditions and the location of your final delivery.
Earnings
Self-employed drivers can typically earn:
£400–£800+ per week
Actual earnings will depend on workload, hours worked, vehicle type and jobs completed.
This is a self-employed position, and drivers using a Prestige company vehicle will be responsible for the applicable weekly vehicle rental.
Courier Driver Responsibilities
As a Prestige courier, your responsibilities will include:
- Collecting and delivering parcels, documents and packages across London and surrounding areas
- Completing multiple same-day collections and deliveries
- Following collection and delivery instructions provided by our control team
- Checking addresses and delivery information before travelling
- Communicating regularly with our controllers throughout the working day
- Providing collection and delivery updates promptly
- Handling customer goods carefully and professionally
- Securing packages appropriately during transit
- Obtaining proof of delivery where required
- Maintaining accurate records of completed deliveries
- Reporting delays or delivery issues immediately
- Providing excellent customer service at collection and delivery points
- Keeping the company vehicle clean and presentable
- Driving safely and professionally at all times
What We Are Looking For
We are particularly interested in drivers with previous same-day courier experience who understand the demands of working on a busy London courier circuit.
The ideal candidate will be:

- Comfortable driving throughout London
- Able to work efficiently under pressure
- Organised with good time-management skills
- Confident communicating with controllers throughout the day
- Able to follow instructions accurately
- Flexible when workloads and delivery requirements change
- Able to work independently while remaining in regular contact with our control team
Driving Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A full UK Driving Licence
- Ideally a clean driving licence
- No more than 3 penalty points
- Held a full driving licence for a minimum of 2 years
- At least 1 year's previous courier driving experience preferred
- Good knowledge of London and surrounding areas
- A safe and professional driving record
Previous same-day courier experience is strongly preferred.
Hourly Rate / Base Driver Position
In addition to our self-employed courier opportunities, we may also have a full-time base driver position available on an hourly-rate basis for the right candidate.
This position operates from our Battersea base in SW11, so applicants interested in the hourly-rate role must live within a reasonable commuting distance of SW11.
We are looking for an experienced, highly reliable courier driver who can start and finish their working day from our Battersea base.
