NTG Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced and dynamic CQC Registered Home
Manager to lead a specialist 17-bed neurorehabilitation service in Ardleigh, near
Colchester.
This is a particularly exciting opportunity as the service is entering a new chapter,
transitioning from a hospital setting into a Specialist Residential Nursing Service.
The service supports individuals with complex neurological needs following Acquired
Brain Injury (ABI) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), providing specialist
neurobehavioural assessment, rehabilitation and ongoing care.

The Role
As CQC Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership,
performance and day-to-day management of the service.
You will:
Lead the transition from a hospital environment to a Specialist Residential
Nursing Service
Provide visible, compassionate and eƯective leadership
Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations, legislation and quality
standards
Take responsibility for quality, governance, budgets and operational performance
Work closely with the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) to deliver safe, personcentred care
Oversee care planning, clinical documentation and nursing records
Recruit, develop, coach and retain a high-performing team
Drive continuous
improvement and
service development
Support residents to achieve their rehabilitation goals and maximise
independence
Build strong relationships with residents, families, commissioners and external
stakeholders
Essential Requirements
We're looking for someone with:
Current NMC registration – RGN, RMN or RNLD
Previous Registered Manager or Home Manager experience within residential
nursing or specialist care
Strong experience managing a CQC-regulated service
Excellent understanding of regulatory compliance, governance and quality
standards
Experience leading service development, organisational change or service
transitions
Strong operational and financial management experience
Excellent leadership and people-management skills
A genuine passion for supporting individuals with complex neurological needs
