Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and organised E-commerce & Amazon Operations Executive to manage and support the day-to-day operations of our Amazon, eBay and company website channels.
The ideal candidate will have practical experience with Amazon Seller Central, inventory management, product listings, customer service, order fulfilment, returns/refunds, product research and online marketing. Experience in the plumbing and heating industry would be highly advantageous.
You will play an important role in ensuring our online stores operate efficiently, products are presented professionally, orders are processed accurately and customers receive excellent service.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day Amazon Seller Central operations, including inventory, listings, orders and account performance.
- Monitor stock levels, identify low-stock and overstock items, and help maintain accurate inventory records.
- Create and optimise Amazon product listings, including titles, bullet points, descriptions, keywords and product attributes.
- Use AI tools to assist with product listing creation, content development, research and optimisation.
- Create and manage Amazon A+ Content to improve product presentation and conversion.
- Carry out product research, particularly within the plumbing and heating sector, identifying new products, market opportunities, competitors and pricing trends.
- Provide online customer service, responding to customer enquiries professionally and promptly.
- Process and manage customer refunds, replacements and returns in accordance with company policies and marketplace requirements.
- Manage Amazon claims, cases and customer disputes, following issues through to resolution.
- Process and coordinate order dispatch, ensuring orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
- Assist with packaging and ensure products are prepared appropriately for safe delivery.
- Manage and update eBay listings and store operations.
- Maintain and update the company website, including products, content, pricing and availability.
- Assist with online marketing activities and campaigns, including promotions, product campaigns and marketplace advertising.
- Monitor sales, product performance and competitor activity and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to maintain product availability and smooth fulfilment.
- Ensure product information, pricing, stock levels and online content remain accurate across all sales channels.
Experience
- Previous experience working with Amazon Seller Central.
- Experience managing Amazon product listings and inventory.
- Good understanding of e-commerce operations and online marketplaces.
- Experience with Amazon A+ Content and product content creation.
- Strong written English and excellent attention to detail.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Experience handling returns, refunds, replacements, claims and marketplace cases.
- Experience with order processing, dispatch and packaging.
- Good research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify profitable product opportunities.
- Comfortable using AI tools for content creation, research and productivity.
- Experience with eBay and/or managing an e-commerce website.
- Basic understanding of online marketing and e-commerce campaigns.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in the plumbing and heating industry.
- Knowledge of plumbing, heating, building or trade products.
- Experience with Amazon advertising/PPC.
- Experience using website platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce or similar.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads or other digital marketing tools.
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar platforms for e-commerce content and research.
- Knowledge of Amazon SEO and marketplace optimisation.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 per week
Work Location: In person
