Job Description:
We have a new opportunity to join our team on a full-time basis as a Security Supervisor/Controller for a large well known education client based in Huddersfield.
Your daily work will help protect our client’s site, property and people including students, staff, and members of the public, resulting in a very satisfying role with significant potential.
You will be the ambassadors for our client; one of the first people that visitors, students, and staff see on arrival, setting the tone and ensuring a safe and secure environment.
Some of the duties will include:
· Leading a small team of patrolling officers to ensure lock ups are completed efficiently and incidents are responded to
· Controlling and issuing keys and access cards
· Monitoring CCTV activity, reviewing footage and downloaded images for investigations
· Managing access control permissions
· Controlling vehicle barriers to allow authorised acces
· Fault reporting
· Customer and contractor liaison
· Camera checks to ensure equipment is working efficiently
· Maintaining that all incidents are logged and reported
· Ensuring Health and Safety polices are adhered to

Security officer requirements:
· Valid Frontline SIA Licence and CCTV Licence
· Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
· Computer literacy is essential
· 5 year+ checkable work history in line with BS 7858
· Smart and presentable portraying a professional image
· Ability to write clear and concise reports
· Excellent time management skills
· A dynamic decision maker to priorities tasks
· Ability to work under time critical pressure
