Team Leader – Residential Home (Adults with Learning Disabilities)

Salary: £32,448 per annum
Hours: 39 hours per week
Are you an experienced and compassionate support professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader to join our friendly residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities in Eastbourne.
About the Role
As Team Leader, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the service. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you’ll provide guidance and leadership to our care team to ensure high-quality, person-centred support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Registered Manager in the overall management and development of the service
- Lead and motivate the care team to deliver exceptional support
- Oversee and support Senior Support Workers
- Run and manage shifts, ensuring staffing levels and effective communication
- Support with care planning and risk assessments
- Carry out administrative and reporting tasks (one/two admin day per week)
- Promote independence, choice, and wellbeing for all residents
About You
- Previous experience in a senior or team leader role within a residential or supported living setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach
- Good organisational and IT skills
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards) desirable
