We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively and welcoming environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. Previous experience in catering, restaurant service, or food preparation is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards during all service activities
- Assist with basic meal preparation or food service when required
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote ongoing patronage
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for staff and customers
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, restaurant service, or food preparation is desirable but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of beverages and food items
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Basic cooking or meal preparation skills are advantageous
- Organised, reliable, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if required
- A friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills is essential for creating an enjoyable guest experience
