Main Purpose of the Role
To lead, supervise and run an Early Years room, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care for children. The post holder will assist in the development and implementation of the Early Years programme on an ongoing basis, support the Project Manager in the supervision of staff, and ensure the effective day-to-day operation of the designated room in line with organisational policies and regulatory standards.
Essential Criteria
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Care and Education (or an equivalent recognised qualification).
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years' practical experience working with children aged 0–12 years.
- Previous experience of leading or supervising an Early Years room is desirable.
Pre-requisites
- Clear AccessNI Disclosure Certificate.
- Social Services Vetting.
