We are looking to appoint a Playground Installer - Labourer to join our team in Hampshire. The successful candidate will work alongside our team in installing and maintaining playground equipment across the country from Monday - Friday.
The job holder will do all tasks within his/her level of skill and ability. This will include travelling around all counties in the south of England. As you will be working in close proximity to children a valid DBS check is essential.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work to strict deadlines to ensure jobs are completed as planned
- Follow instructions and be a key team player
- Use of a variety of power tools
- Loading & unloading of company vehicles
- Happy to work outside in all weather conditions
- Undertake work related training courses as required
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who operates well on their own as well as being an integral part of a team. Presentable, positive, and outgoing in character, you will need to have the following skills, qualities and experience:
The Correct person must have:
Essential
- Experience in using power tools - minimum 1 year
- Attention to detail & accuracy
- A full UK driving license
- A DBS certificate (or willing to undergo checks)
- Ability to problem solve & use initiative
- Professional manner
- Capable of working well under pressure & meeting deadlines
- Be self-employed
Desirable:
- Experience of Construction/Groundworks
- Valid CSCS Card
- Plant and machinery qualifications or experience
