We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-Time Office Cleaner with a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check to join our team. In this vital role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of office areas, including desks, floors, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized regularly to promote health and safety standards
- Dispose of waste responsibly and replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and report any issues promptly
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities
- Support additional ad hoc cleaning tasks as required to uphold the cleanliness of the premises
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines while maintaining flexibility for urgent or special requests
- Working hours are 12 noon until 3:00pm
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Valid DBS check is essential for this position; candidates must have an active clearance or be willing to obtain one prior to start
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and reliability in completing assigned tasks efficiently
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that involve standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills to ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly within scheduled timeframes
