- Genuine opportunity to develop your litigation experience
- Exposure to defended, fast-track and multi-track matters
- Supportive team structure, working alongside 3 fee earners with supervision from a senior solicitor

- Opportunity to progress towards independently managing smaller matters
- Landlord & Tenant training available if your experience is from another area of litigation
- Competitive salary based on experience, with an increase following probation
The Role
We’re working with a law firm looking for a Fee Earner to join its busy Landlord & Tenant Litigation department. The team acts for a varied client base, ranging from individual private landlords through to managing agents and insurance companies.
You’ll be involved in a good mix of contentious work, including:
- Standard and accelerated possession proceedings
- Defended landlord and tenant matters
- Drafting notices, court applications and legal documents
- Issuing possession claims
- Preparing manual possession, accelerated and warrant applications
- Working to court directions and orders
- Preparing instructions for advocates and Counsel
- Liaising with clients, courts, solicitors, defendants and managing agents
You’ll ideally have some understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and litigation process, together with strong organisation, attention to detail and client communication skills.
Previous Landlord & Tenant experience would be beneficial, but isn’t essential – the firm is happy to provide training to someone with the right transferable experience and willingness to learn.
If you’re looking to build your litigation career within a team where you’ll have experienced people around you and the opportunity to take on more responsibility as your knowledge develops, apply now for a confidential discussion.
Don’t quite tick every box? We’d still encourage you to get in touch, as we recruit for a range of legal opportunities across the surrounding area.
Your CV will never be sent to our client without us speaking with you first and discussing the opportunity in detail.
