We're looking for a skilled, motivated Accounts & Tax Accountant to join our growing team. You'll prepare annual accounts and tax returns for a varied client base — sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies — and take ownership of your work both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing year-end accounts
- Completing personal and corporation tax returns
- Liaising directly with clients on queries and information requests
- Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and deadlines
- Assisting with VAT returns and bookkeeping as required
About You
- Experience in an accountancy practice (essential)
- Familiarity with cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks)
- Strong understanding of UK tax and accounting regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- A professional, approachable communicator — Welsh language skills a bonus
- Qualified or part-qualified AAT/ATT, or qualified by experience
