Waltham Windmill Golf Club has vacancies for experienced bar & restaurant staff on a zero hours basis. This is a flexible opportunity that would suit somebody looking for part time work. Shifts will vary dependent on the club's needs, including busy weekends, competitions, functions and events.
Job Requirements
- Provide friendly and welcoming service to members, guests and visitors
- Take orders and serve drinks / food, offering table service where possible
- Operate the till and handle both cash and card payments
- Keep the bar and kitchen area clean, tidy and well presented
- Restock drinks and supplies as required
- Work flexibly across both the bar and restaurant environments
- Proactively anticipate member, visitor & guests needs
What We’re Looking For
- A friendly, outgoing demeanour with a positive attitude
- A trustworthy, reliable and punctual individual
- Someone who is comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- The ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods
- Flexibility and willingness to work evenings and weekends where required
- Previous bar or hospitality experience (desirable)
- Culinary & kitchen skills are a huge advantage - including food hygiene certification (highly desirable)
