We're on the look out for an enthusiastic and energetic person to join our team for a part time bartender role at English Lounge, in the heart of Manchester City Centre!

The successful candidate will have a great understanding of the bar and drinks ranges, be friendly, enjoy the work atmosphere of a bustling pub. Also must be able to work under pressure in a busy environment, whilst still creating an amazing experience which will keep our customers coming back time after time!
Please note:
Shifts will be some weekday evenings and weekends including some bank holidays. With shift patterns ranging from 1 - 3 shifts per week, with hours increasing after the summer period. (Hours can be negotiated if successful).
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and organised bar and front of house area, collecting and washing glasses and ensuring that all customers receive exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders efficiently
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible service of alcohol
- Manage inventory by restocking supplies and reporting any shortages
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred
- A good understanding of till systems and cash management
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks during peak hours
- A commitment to providing outstanding hospitality and customer service
- Knowledge of different drinks and pairings
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A friendly demeanour with strong communication skills
- Outstanding understanding of the English language
- Be available for work weeknights, weekends and bank holidays
- Have a good transport option for late nights or live near the city centre
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
