About the Role
Crest Pharmacy is looking for a reliable, responsible and customer-focused Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering prescriptions, medications and other pharmacy items safely and efficiently to patients and customers. You will represent Crest Pharmacy while out on deliveries, so excellent customer service, professionalism and discretion are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver prescriptions and pharmacy items safely and efficiently to patients and customers.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
- Handle medicines and customer orders with care and confidentiality.
- Check delivery details and ensure the correct items are delivered to the correct customer.
- Obtain signatures or other delivery confirmation where required.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service at each delivery.
- Communicate with the pharmacy team regarding deliveries, delays or any issues.
- Report failed deliveries or problems promptly.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, safe and presentable.
- Follow all road safety, company and pharmacy procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Carry out other reasonable duties required to support the pharmacy's delivery service.
Requirements
- A full, valid UK driving licence.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Good driving skills and a responsible attitude on the road.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, polite and respectful manner.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to handle confidential customer and patient information appropriately.
- Previous delivery or pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential.
- Applicants must have the appropriate right to work in the UK.
