Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Sales / Waiters to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deliver exceptional guest service in a dynamic restaurant environment. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is desirable, but full training will be provided for the right candidates. Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable from arrival to departure
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations and upselling where appropriate
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Ensure all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, are adhered to at all times
- Assist in food preparation or setup as required, supporting kitchen staff when necessary
- Handle payments accurately using the POS system and provide correct change or receipts
- Maintain a clean and organised service area, including tables, counters, and workstations
- Respond promptly to guest enquiries or special requests, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service environments is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving techniques
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing and cash handling purposes
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
- Basic food preparation skills and familiarity with kitchen operations are desirable
- Upselling skills to enhance guest experience while increasing sales opportunities
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and guest needs
