St Joseph's Nursery is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Toddler Room Practitioner to work with our children aged 2–3 years. We are seeking a qualified childcare professional who is passionate about supporting young children's learning, development, and wellbeing in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 2–3 years.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of all children at all times.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress in line with the EYFS framework.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
- Support nursery routines, mealtimes, and personal care where required.
- Be flexible and willing to work within the Baby Room and Pre-School Room when needed to support the wider nursery team.
Essential Requirements:
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent recognised qualification).
- A good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive, caring, and professional attitude.
- Flexibility to work across different age groups when required.
Desirable:
- Previous experience working in an early years setting.
- Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to undertake training).
