Part-Time/Full Time Baker – Artisan Bread & Pastry
We're looking for an experienced baker with pastry experience to join our friendly, hardworking team at our artisan craft bakery in Leeds.
We produce a wide range of handcrafted breads, pastries and confectionery for our retail customers, wholesale clients and events. We're passionate about quality, consistency and producing exceptional products every day.
About the Role
You'll be involved in a varied range of bakery and pastry production, including:
- Dough mixing and development.
- Sourdough production and fermentation.
- Dough dividing, hand shaping and finishing.
- Laminated doughs and pastry production.
- Pastry and confectionery preparation and finishing.
- Oven work and baking to consistently high standards.
- Accurately following recipes, methods and product specifications.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous professional bakery and/or pastry experience.
- Is confident with mixing, shaping and oven work.
- Has experience producing sourdough breads.
- Has lamination and pastry skills.
- Has excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately replicate products and techniques demonstrated during training, maintaining the same high standard consistently.
- Takes pride in producing high-quality handmade products.
- Is reliable, hardworking and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.
- Is able to work early mornings and thrive in a busy bakery environment.
