About You
You're an experienced Nursery Manager who understands that outstanding early years practice isn't about perfection—it's about clarity, consistency and care.
You have an excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and know how to translate it into meaningful, child-centred learning experiences. You lead with confidence, integrity and professionalism, building high-performing teams through clear expectations, coaching and support.
You're organised, resilient and commercially aware—equally confident with people, compliance, occupancy and operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities
As Nursery Manager, you will:
- Lead the day-to-day management and strategic development of the nursery.
- Champion our Seeds of Learning philosophy, embedding it throughout the nursery and ensuring it underpins children's learning and development.
- Create a culture of continuous improvement where every child receives the highest quality care and education.
- Provide clear leadership, coaching and accountability, enabling every team member to reach their full potential.
- Ensure exemplary safeguarding practice and full compliance with the EYFS and all statutory requirements.
- Monitor quality through observation, coaching and reflective practice to continually raise standards.
- Build positive partnerships with families, external professionals and the wider community.
- Oversee occupancy, staffing, budgets and resources to support a successful and sustainable nursery.
- Lead the nursery confidently through inspection, change and future growth.
Essential Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5 or above desirable).
- Significant experience managing an early years setting.
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and statutory requirements.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional care, education and outcomes for children.

Pay: £34,800.00-£36,000.00 per year
