Delivery Driver (3.5T Multi-Drop) – Fencing, Timber, Concrete & Landscaping Materials

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our growing team.
This role involves carrying out multi-drop deliveries of fencing, timber, concrete, and landscaping materials across Essex, London, Kent, Hertfordshire, and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading their vehicle, planning delivery routes, and ensuring deliveries are completed safely and professionally.
This position is ideal for someone with experience driving 3.5T vehicles who enjoys working independently and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a 3.5T dropside vehicle for multi-drop deliveries
- Delivering fencing, timber, concrete, and landscaping materials to residential and trade customers
- Loading and securing deliveries safely before departure
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Planning efficient delivery routes
- Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining customer signatures
- Providing professional and friendly customer service at delivery locations
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time
- Adhering to all road traffic and health & safety regulations
- Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the company vehicle
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Eligible to drive company vehicles under our insurer’s terms
- Experience driving a 3.5T vehicle preferred
- Able to safely load, unload and handle fencing, timber, concrete and landscaping materials
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong awareness of health and safety
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Preferred Experience
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
- Experience delivering fencing, timber, concrete, or landscaping materials
- Experience working within a builders’ merchant, fencing supplier, timber merchant, or landscaping supplier
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
- Experience towing a trailer (desirable but not essential)
