Working Arrangements: 60% on site/40% remote
Our client is looking for an experienced
HR Administrator to join their busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong administrative background who can manage competing priorities, maintain accurate employee records and provide a high standard of customer service.
You will support a broad range of HR activities, including
Learning & Development, employee records, recruitment administration and transactional HR queries. The role will involve working collaboratively across the team, with resources rotated and allocated according to business need.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate employee records and HR data, ensuring data integrity and compliance with relevant guidelines.
- Handle HR transactional queries from initial contact through to resolution.
- Manage shared inboxes, prioritising and responding to queries within agreed timescales.
- Support Learning & Development activities and related administration.
- Provide administrative support to recruitment activity and wider HR processes.
- Ensure personal and sensitive information is handled appropriately and in line with GDPR requirements.
- Support the administration of pension schemes, applying relevant rules and procedures.
- Gather, interpret and present HR data, identifying trends, issues and potential solutions.
- Build effective relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and customers.
- Provide a high level of customer service through professional written and verbal communication.
- Support wider HR activities, policies and processes as required.
- Assist with project coordination and organisational activities across the HR function.
- Manage competing priorities effectively, understanding what needs to be actioned first and working proactively to meet deadlines.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with
solid HR administration experience rather than someone at the beginning of their career. You should be comfortable working in a busy administrative environment, managing inboxes, handling confidential information and working as part of a team.
You will need:
- Previous experience in an HR administration or comparable administrative environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
- Experience maintaining data integrity and following established processes and guidelines.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing workloads.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong customer service approach.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing resource requirements.
- Confidence handling transactional queries through to resolution.
- An understanding of confidentiality and GDPR requirements.
- Sole UK National
Desirable Experience
- Previous recruitment or recruitment administration experience.
- Level 3 CIPD qualification.
- Experience within a large or complex organisation.
- Experience working within a public sector environment.
- Understanding of pension schemes and their administration.
- Broader awareness of HR policies, processes and the wider HR function.
