Duties
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Support kitchen staff in cooking, plating, and serving food items promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Organize ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods
- Help with food storage, labeling, and inventory management to prevent waste and ensure freshness
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards in all aspects of food handling
- Support the team during catering events or special meal services as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is essential.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene protocols
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, or weekends as required
- Previous kitchen or culinary experience is Required.
Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
