Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Domestic for the Weekend to provide exceptional cleaning and maintenance services in our Nursing Home during weekend shifts. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy maintaining a clean, organized environment and take pride in delivering high-quality service. As a Weekend Domestic, you will be responsible for ensuring spaces are spotless, safe, and welcoming, contributing to the comfort and satisfaction of Service Users.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows (inside), and fixtures using cleaning equipment and supplies
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all assigned spaces
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure continuous availability of cleaning materials
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
- Assist with special cleaning projects like deep cleans as required by management
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles, with a strong attention to detail
- Previous experience working in hospital environments or healthcare facilities is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as sweeping, mopping, lifting, and bending throughout the shift
- Excellent time management skills to complete all duties within scheduled hours
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures for handling chemicals and equipment
- Reliable transportation to arrive on time for weekend shifts
