Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House Cinema Assistant / Bartender to join our vibrant team. This role involves delivering exceptional guest services, managing bar operations, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. The successful candidate will play a key part in creating a memorable cinema experience, combining hospitality expertise with efficient management of the bar. Film lover is a must! Previous experience in cinema or theatre, hospitality, or guest services is highly desirable, though training will be provided for the right candidate. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic entertainment setting while developing valuable skills in customer service and team management.
Duties
- Serving customers (customer satisfaction is top priority for us!)
- Ushering screenings and screen checks ensuring there are no disruptions
- Box office (selling tickets, memberships, and gift cards)
- Cleaning duties (screens, foyers, box office, sweet shop), bin runs, toilet checks.
- Operating the sweet shop (selling goods, making coffees, making bottled cocktails, sweet bags, and a range of potted snacks)
- Bartending; serving drinks and making cocktails
- Relaying all feedback to the manager on shift
Qualifications
- Customer service
- Availability on evenings and at weekends
- Punctuality
- A willingness to take initiative and be proactive
- Experience in hospitality or retail (this is not essential, but will contribute strongly towards your application)
- An active interest in film (this is not essential, but will contribute towards your application).
Pay: £14.80 per hour
