Safewater IO is a well-established and highly respected water hygiene and specialist plumbing contractor delivering projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit experienced Plumbers to join our expanding team.

The Role
As part of the Safewater IO team, you will carry out remedial plumbing and water hygiene works across a range of sites throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out pipework alterations to prevent stagnant water build-up
- Working on both new and legacy plumbing systems
- Cleaning and disinfecting Cold Water Storage Tanks (CWST)
- Supporting water hygiene and Legionella control programmes
- Working within listed buildings where careful, compliant practices are required
- Adhering to site health & safety and water hygiene compliance procedures
- Completing job reports and required documentation accurately
This role includes both local and nationwide work. Flexibility to travel is essential, as projects are delivered across the UK. While working away from home is not a requirement for every project, a willingness to stay away when needed would be advantageous and highly valued.
What We Offer

- £34,000 – £42,000 basic salary (depending on experience)

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
- At least 2 years’ relevant plumbing experience, ideally within remedial or commercial environments
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Experience or knowledge of Legionella control, including ACoP L8, HSG 274 (Parts 1, 2 & 3) and HSG 282 (desirable but not essential)
- A reliable, professional attitude
While prior Legionella and water hygiene experience is advantageous, full training will be provided to the right candidate.
