Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester
- Salary from £30,000 per year dependent on experience, increased based on experience and capability.
Self Employed (option) Part-Time or Full Time position - Monday-Friday 8.00am – 17.30pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays 8.30am -14.00pm - hours to be discussed as option on flextime (to start early and finish early, start and finish time to be discussed if required).
This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Technician/Vehicle Mechanic to join an independent family ran business with a commitment to on-going training and development. We are an extremely busy garage but as a family business we feel its important for everyone to enjoy there time at work, we allow music and have a more relaxed approach.
Salary will depend on level of experience; MOT Tester would be an advantage, although is not essential. As training opportunity is available.
Candidates need to have -
* Have NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent in vehicle maintenance and repair (or time served)
* Have a minimum of 2 years of work history within a vehicle repair garage
* Have good attention to detail
* Have willingness to learn
* Be able to provide evidence of job stability
* Be able to work well within a team
The Vehicle Technician or Mechanic will be working on all makes and models, delivering the best customer service via repair and service. You will be required to complete inspections/repairs/servicing etc.
We are a busy garage and offer everything from an MOT testing/Servicing & repairs to a full engine rebuild. Our customers expect an extremely high level of customer service. Most of the time you will not deal with customers however, you may at some point. Smart appearance is required (uniform provided after three months).
