Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Hygiene Administrator to join the Symclean team at a major food production factory in Skelmersdale.
In this vital role, you will oversee the coordination and management of hygiene-related administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations within our facilities. Responsibilities
- Manage scheduling and documentation of hygiene inspections, audits, and cleaning routines
- Maintain accurate records of hygiene activities using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Excel
- Coordinate communication between cleaning staff, management, and external vendors via phone and email with professional etiquette
- Organize and update hygiene compliance files, reports, and logs efficiently
- Assist in inventory management for hygiene supplies and equipment
- Support the implementation of hygiene protocols by preparing training materials and tracking staff completion
- Ensure timely follow-up on maintenance requests or issues related to hygiene standards
- Record non -conformances
- Update electronic hygiene data bases
- liaise with all other departments
Qualifications
- Prior office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail and business qualifications
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry tools
- Administrative experience with familiarity in clerical tasks such as filing, scheduling, and record keeping
- Excellent phone etiquette with clear communication skills
- Ability to type quickly and accurately for data entry purposes
- Experience working with CRM systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Desirable; food safety level2 or above
- HACCP awareness
