Multi trade Carpenter (with kitchen and bathroom refurbishment experience)
Biocraft South East ltd is a leading specialist remedial services contractor providing dampness control and home ventilation services throughout Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
Biocraft provides a wide range of property services to both the public and private sector. We mainly deal with domestic properties with some commercial buildings. Due to continued growth of the business, we have a vacancy for a in a Multi trade Carpenter with kitchen and bathroom refurbishment experience in a full time role.
The applicant must have experience in the kitchen and bathroom refurbishment together with excellent carpentry and multitrade skills. They must be able to work as part of a team and have good communication skills.
Responsibilities /Day to Day tasks will be included.
· Removal and refitting of kitchens and bathroom in flood and water damaged residential properties for social housing, commercial and private clients. Reinstatement of original or replacement fitting and fixtures
· Removal and reinstatement of joinery in relation to damp proofing and remedial works – skirting boards, architraves, door linings, boxing and cabinets
· Installation of doors, studwork and insulated dry linings
· Timber treatments
· Repair of suspended timber floors and installation of laminate flooring
· Plaster boarding walls and ceilings
· Installation and monitoring of drying equipment
· Communication with clients regarding works and variations
· Supervision of junior carpenters and apprentices as required
· Other works as business needs in support of its operation
Requirements
· +3 years relevant experience
· Possess a a good multitrade skill base.
· Self motivated, professional and enthusiastic about their work
· Full UK driving licence
· CSCS card a benefit
· Health and Safety Qualifications a benefit – ie UKATA asbestos awareness, lone working etc
· Subject to 3 month probation period, satisfactory references and confirmed right to work in UK.

Job Type: Full-time 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
Pay: £48,000.00 per annum
Holiday entitlement is 28 days per year (including bank holidays)
